Fox in the Snow

We have been flooded with snow for the last week. Heaps and heaps. Piles and piles. And then the aftermath was even worse. Either the ploughs didn't come or if they did come they would spray snow all over your sidewalk.

So while I was indoors, claustrophobic and climbling the walls I painted this little fella who is looking at the slow drift of snow flakes. It is available at Redbubble. He was painted in watercolor.

During the snowstorm we also lost one of our two guinea pigs. Yes little brown Peanut has gone to guinea pig heaven. She was such a sweet and gentle little thing. RIP Peanut.

  4. your fox is darling Emma-love the colors. So sorry for your loss. We used to have guinea pigs growing up and they were sweet. Will you get another to keep your other one company? Glad your storm has ended. i don't get cabin fever BUT I DO get cravings for food I don't happen to have on hand:):)

    1. Well both piggies were 6 years old so I don't know if we want to get another youngun to keep Marshmallow company. Marshmallow seems happy enough for now as a solo.

      I know.what you mean about.the food cravings!

  12. I love your little watercolor fox. That was a fun snow day activity. I wish we had a bit of the white stuff for a day or two to enjoy! Alabama is a bit removed from the winter snow except for rare happenings!! Have a great Sunday! visiting from Sunday Sketches

  19. That's a great looking fox, the drawn sort are much the ones I prefer. The live ones have a habit of digging up my garden at the moment. Hope the melting snow hasn't done too much damage, thanks for linking up to #PoCoLo
