Blackbirds





Hurrah! Happy Days are here again. I have decided to stop stewing about the election and get back to trying to be cheerful!

Like Paul McCartney sings.....

Blackbird singing in the dead of night
Take these sunken eyes and learn to see
All your life
You were only waiting for this moment to be free

It make me think about birds and how very free they are. I ended up painting a pattern design of blackbirds swirling around a forest.

For the next four years let's try and be cheerful and never forget these wonderful guys. Farewell Barack and Joe you will be missed.

    Your watercolor painting is just gorgeous. It looks so good where you have it hanging, like it was just meant to be there. Also, I really appreciate your positive, upbeat, and encouraging words. I think we can dig ourselves into a depression hole very easily. I love that art can lift us up and help us to stay on even keel.
